Who looks after these books?

Owners often attach 'bookplates' to their volumes. Frederick Locker added his own to this copy of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It features a coat of arms, a fool, and the motto 'Fear God, Fear Nought.'

Today, this book is looked after by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Library in Stratford-upon-Avon. They have added their own more workmanlike bookplate!
