An inventory
is a list of things that you have owned. It is made after you
have died. Usually friends or neighbours go into your house and
make a list of everything in it. Sometimes people might try and
take something so there had to be at least two people making the
inventory. Lydia
Did you
know? In Tudor times there was no correct spelling. Shakespeare
was written down as Shakaspeare, Chasper and Shagspere. The Tudors
also wrote in secretary hand, which can make inventories difficult
to read.
