The Great Hall

Climb the steps from the courtyard and the Great Hall is the first room you enter. It's both a sitting room and a fitting stage for evening events at the Countess' Castle.

The gothic chandelier (top) is actually a gas fitting. Note also the three electric lamps - the castle's mill generated its own electricity from 1894.
